On Wednesday, January 27, a general Students’ Council meeting was held on stage in the gym. After the usual opening formalities, reports were given from the executives. Items of business transacted at the meeting were a request for money from the Chess Club, and the approval of the Council donating one thousand dollars towards the proposed football league to be established in the district and centered at MRSSS next year. Motions on both these were passed, the latter after some discussion from the floor. Principal D.A. Voth spoke briefly on the football league, after which the meeting closed.

The Valentine’s Social will be held this Saturday, February 13, from 8:00 to 12:00 p.m. Supplying the music will be the Hi-Lites. Tickets are on sale from class reps.
