This Thursday noon the grade twelve girls are holding a slave auction in the gym at noon, with Slave Day set as Friday, January 22.
Only thirty slaves will be auctioned off, with bidding starting at 25 cents. Limit is two to a customer.
Be sure to attend the Grad Game at the school on Saturday evening, January 23. This game promises to be a good one with the grads trying to show the Ramblers and Ridgettes how to play basketball.
Two representatives from M.R.S.S.S. will be attending the 18th annual high school conference sponsored by the Alma Mater Society at UBC on February 5 and 6.
The January social that was to have replaced the Christmas social has been cancelled because of lack of support. The next social will be the Valentine’s social on February 13. Also planned for February is a swim party.
