On Wednesday, Nov. 25 the students were entertained by the RCAF Band from Winnipeg, which was completing a tour of Western Canada in the Fraser Valley. The band provided a selection of classical and popular pieces. In addition to these, harmonica and vocal selections, and a demonstration of the individual instruments in the band, combined with occasional humour from the percussion section, provided a lively afternoon period.
News of the roller skating party will be in next week’s Gazette.
The date of the Christmas Social has been changed to December 23, from 8 to 12 o’clock, with the Hi-Lites supplying the music. Advance tickets will be available from class reps this week. People inviting outsiders have to sign the guest list in the office before Friday of this week.
